Hemp Butter
Hemp Butter – Do not fry with this butter as the high temperatures will compromise the fatty acids.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups new hemisphere ™Hemp Seed Oil
- 1 lb unsalted butter
Instructions:
- Soften butter in a container (over night usually does it)
- Add one and a quarter cups Hemp Seed Oil and blend in by hand until hemp oil and butter are partially mixed.
- Using an electric hand blender, blend on low until completely smooth
- Keep refrigerated until required.
- Before spreading remove a small pat & leave to soften for about 10 minutes at room temperature.
Garlic & Chive Butter
- 1/2 cup softened hemp butter
- 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
- 1tbsp finely chopped chives
Blend softened hemp butter with garlic & chives.
Parmesan & Pepper Butter
- 1/2 cup softened hemp butter
- 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
Blend softened hemp butter with cheese & ground black pepper
Fresh Herb Butter
- 1/2 cup softened hemp butter
- 1 tsp chopped fresh basil
- 1 tsp chopped thyme
- 1 tsp chopped parsley
Blend softened hemp butter with fresh herbs.
Serve in baked potatoes, on steaks, toss with hot pasta, or use as a spread for hot breads or use as regular butter in rolls & sandwiches.
